The academic airport

The airfield serves as a place for training pilots and ground handling. Besides the aircrafts used to train future pilots, charter flights and air taxis can land at the airport.

The Academic Airport belonging to The State School of Higher Education in Chełm is used primarily to train students  specializing in airplane pilotage and civil flights (Border Guard, Air Rescue).
